The petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated August 26, 2021 in which the authority concerned has simplicitor handed over a copy of the relevant provisions to the petitioner and closed the hearing of the matter. By an order dated March 10, 2021, a coordinate Bench of this Court had directed the authority concerned to take a decision but such decision is still not being taken. In light of the same, the order dated August 26, 2021 is set aside with a direction upon the authority concerned to apply his mind in a rational manner and pass a reasoned order within a period of four weeks from date after granting an opportunity of hearing to the parties.

With these observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of all formalities, on priority basis.
