171 C.R.R. 2161 of 2024 In re: Mamatha Nath Pal Mr. Subhra De ... For the Petitioner Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of G.R. Case no. 6134 of 2019 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Barrackpore, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the next date for consideration of charge has been fixed on 5th February, 2026. Since the matter is pending since 2019, learned trial Court is directed to consider the charge on the next date fixed before him and if the same is not possible due to unforeseen circumstances, then within one month thereafter. Learned trial Court shall take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within one year from the date of consideration of charge without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

C.R.R. 2161 of 2024 is disposed of.
