Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there has been subsequent change of circumstances. Accordingly, he has been advised not to deal with the merits of the case. Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the police authorities have diligently taken steps and consequent to the information received, Howrah PS Case No. 283/25 dated 24.06.2025 has been registered for investigation.

In view of the steps taken by the police authorities, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 13306 of is disposed of.
