The State of West Bengal and anr.

Ms. Faria Hossain Ms. Kanchan Roy..........for the State Report submitted by the State is taken on record. Upon perusal of the said report and order-sheet annexed thereto this court finds that the accused, namely, Raj Kumar Jaiswal @ Jhantu Jaiswal was acquitted from G.R. Case no. 1217 of 2003 in connection with Jorabagan PS case no. 153 of 2003 dated 04.09.2003 under section 379 of the IPC, 1860 under section 248(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 on 25.03.2021 by the Metropolitan Magistrate, 17th Court at Calcutta and sureties were discharged from the liability of the bail bond.

Under the above facts and circumstances, this criminal revisional application has become infructuous. Accordingly, CRR 1894 of 2016 is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, the application being CRAN 1/2016(Old CRAN 3510/2016) is, thus, disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to the learned court below immediately for information. Liberty is granted to all parties to act in terms of the copy of this order downloaded from the official website of this court.
