1. Eye-witnesses implicate the petitioner in an incident of assault where, the petitioner inflicted a cut injury on the eyelid of the victim through a knife.

2. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

4. C.R.M. (A) 1837 of 2024 is dismissed.
