1. Report filed on behalf of the Union of India is placed on record. From the report it appears passport stands in the name of one Sukanta Das, S/o. Jayanta Das.

2. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is also known by the said name. However, nothing has transpired in the course of investigation in support of such plea. Petitioner is also unable to place on record any document describing him with the aforesaid alias.

3. Under such circumstances, we are unable to come to the conclusion that the passport relied upon belongs to Samir Ahmed, S/o. Late Sahajahan Ahmed.
