The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the victim were having a love relationship and the petitioner has been falsely implicated.

2. The learned Counsel for the de-facto complainant has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and has relied upon the statement of the victim recorded under section 164 of the Cr.P.C.

3. The learned Counsel for the State has also referred to the statement under section 161 corroborating the statement of the victim under section 164 of the Cr.P.C.

Considering the materials available in the case diary and the statement of the victim directly implicating the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. CRM(A) 1845 of 2024 is, thus, rejected.

The service return filed on behalf of the State upon the de-facto complainant is taken on record.
