... ... Petitioners Mr. Rana Mukhopadhyay, Advocate ... ... For the Petitioners Ms. Sreyashee Biswas, Advocate Ms. Bursa Khatoon, Advocate ... ...For the State Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated.

The incident arose due to disputes with regard to a marriage. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the Case Diary including the statement of the victim recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and injury of the victim.

One of the persons suffered grievous injury. There are materials in the Case Diary implicating the petitioners. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials in the Case Diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected. CRM (A) 3158 of 2022 is dismissed.
