2. The petitioner's application dated 10th June, 2025 praying for relaxation of the eligibility criteria for issuance of the Economically Weaker Section certificate is pending consideration.
3. The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas to take necessary steps for consideration of the prayer made by the petitioner strictly in accordance with the prevailing rules at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
4. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.
5. If the petitioner is found entitled to the relief sought for, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
