In compliance with the direction dated July 10, 2025, Dr. Atish Dipankar Jana, the Principal, Sibani Mandal Mahavidyalaya, the respondent no.4 herein is personally present before this Court; his such personal appearance is dispensed with until further order(s).

Mr. Jana explains how the mistakes in the registration number and roll number in the mark sheet of the petitioner in B.A. Semester-II (Honours) Examination, 2022 had occurred. Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate for the University of Calcutta submits that the said typographical errors would be rectified in the said marksheet and upon the said correction, a fresh marksheet of the Semester-VI (Honours) Examination, 2024 would be provided to the petitioner as the 2nd Semester result has been left blank in the aforementioned marksheet. The Controller of Examination, University of Calcutta, the respondent no.2 herein is directed to take appropriate steps to carry out the said corrections as indicated above and to issue a fresh marksheet for the aforementioned Semester-VI (Honours) Examination, 2024 to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. WPA 13563 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
