Matter is heard in presence of learned advocates representing petitioner and State respondents.

Petitioner is dissatisfied with the steps taken by concerned police authorities after lodging complaint on 8th June, 2026 resulting in filing of this writ petition seeking direction upon the concerned police authorities. 3.

Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 25th June, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge of Sankrail Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of the said communication dated 25th June, 2026 is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner.

It is disclosed in the communication dated 25th June, 2026 that after receipt of written complaint from petitioner dated 8th June, 2026, enquiry was made but nothing was found to initiate criminal prosecution.

However, formal entry was made as Sankrail Police Station Petition Part-IV No.681/2026 dated 10th June, 2026.

If petitioner is dissatisfied with inaction on the part of police authorities in not taking steps by registering FIR based on complaint lodged, petitioner shall be at liberty to approach jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) of BNSS, 2023.

With aforesaid observation, writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
