The petitioner who is the Pradhan of Harua Gram Panchayat has sought cancellation of the notice of meeting dated 12th June, 2026 pursuant to a requisition submitted before the Prescribed Authority by the requisitionists/ private respondents.

Learned counsel for the State submits, on instructions, that by a notice issued vide memo no. 3040(33) dated 19th June, 2026, the Prescribed Authority and Block Development Officer, Suti-I Development Block has cancelled the meeting.

In view of the above, nothing further remains to be dealt with in the writ petition. The same is dismissed as infructuous.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
