Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it was a free fight between two groups over the selection of a new secretary of Kali Puja committee in October, 2024. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that 57 persons were named in the FIR, however, no specific role has been assigned. Learned counsel submits that the charge-sheet has already been filed. 2.

Learned counsel for the State has opposed the bail application on the ground that a group led by the petitioner no.1 assaulted the other group with the lathi, iron rod, sticks, crowbar, etc., and caused serious injuries. Leaned counsel submits that there are 10 injured in which some had suffered head injuries. 3.

The court has considered the submission. The incident is of October, 2024. The charge-sheet has already been filed against

the accused persons. The weapons of offence is stated to have recovered from the spot.

It is also pertinent to mention there that the coordinate Bench of this court has already admitted co-accused Chiranjit Mandal to anticipatory bail vide order 22nd May, 2025 in CRM(A) 1710 of 2025.

In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioners shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses and that the petitioners shall join and cooperate in the investigation. 6.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of. 7.

All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
