Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as in spite of informing the police authorities, no action has been taken. Petitioner claims that the petitioner is owner of a property, wherein immediately after he purchased the property, padlock was affixed and he could not enjoy the property.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that on the basis of the information which was furnished on or about 22nd April, 2025, police authorities have already drawn up proceedings being Narendrapur P.S. Case No.750 of dated 25.06.2025 under Sections 316(2)/318(4)/351(2) of the BNS. The investigation of

the case is still in progress. The police authorities would re-assess the genesis of the facts and the sections incorporated for which investigation being is carried out as also whether the petitioner is actually deprived of the property which he claims to be his own. The police authorities would also oversee that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any other untoward incident resulting because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondent.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13371 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
