Tuhin Kanti Sarkar & ANR v. State Bank Of India & ORS
Sr.33 31-08-2021 Subha.
Court no. 34
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION APPELLATE SIDE ( Via Video Conference ) CRR 2236 of 2011 In the matter of : Tuhin Kanti Sarkar & Anr. .....petitioners. In Re : An application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure read with Section 397 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The revisional application is pending before this court for almost 10 years. However, no effective steps have been taken by the petitioners in both the revisional applications.
Having regard to the period of time which has elapsed in the meantime, I am of the view that as the Sessions Court had the occasion to consider the grievance of the petitioners, no further interference is required at this stage after 10 years.
Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 2236 of 2011 is dismissed.
All pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. ( Tirthankar Ghosh, J. )
