713 of 2023 dated 26.06.23 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of the IPC.

The investigation officer has issued notices, frozen the accounts as also recorded the statements of the witnesses.

The investigation of the case is in progress.

The report also reflects that a reply mail has been received from Tata

Projects Limited.

Learned advocate for the private respondents is present and submits that they are innocent and have been foisted with criminal case.

I have considered the report of the State. I find from the report that more than one year and seven months have passed in the meantime but the report do not portray any picture as and when the investigating officer would be in a position to arrive at the finality.

Accordingly, the SDPO/ASP-incharge of Tamluk Police Station would oversee and/or monitor the investigation of the case so that the same can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 14714 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
