Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that he has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is in custody for more than 350 days. She seeks for enlargement of the petitioner on bail.

Opposing such prayer for bail, learned Advocate for the State submits that there are specific allegations against the petitioner of his involvement in the alleged offence. He seeks for dismissal of the application.

Similar submission is advanced on behalf of the de facto complainant.

Perused the case diary and the materials on record. It is found from the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. that there are serious allegations against the petitioner of his involvement in the alleged offence which has also been stated by the victim before the attending doctor during her medical examination.

Considering the nature and the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for bail being CRM (M) 768 of 2025 stands dismissed.
