Having regard to the averments made in this restoration application, I am of the view that the petitioner has sufficiently explained the reasons for his non-appearance before this Court on 12th August, 2024.

Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2024 is allowed. WPA 14749 of 2024 is restored to its original file and number.

In Re: WPA 14749 of 2024 Let CESC conduct an inspection of the premises in question within a period of three weeks from date.

List this matter one week after the ensuing Puja Vacation under the heading 'Motion'.

CESC shall submit its report, communicate this order to the respondents, and file affidavit of service on the next date.
