Act pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, as the case was filed in the year 2020 and the transactions in the complaint relate to the year 2019 but till date the examination under Section 251 Cr. P.C. is not over and there has been no progress in the case. Petitioner is granted liberty to prefer an appropriate application for interim compensation during pendency of the complaint case under Section 143A of the N.I. Act. Learned court would dispose of such application within a period of 4 weeks. The trial court in its wisdom in respect of provisions of N.I. Act should fix a scheduled time for the completion of such proceedings.

Accordingly, learned trial court would in the spirit of the same fix at least one date in every 2 months so that the trial of the case is concluded within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to any of the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2110 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
