Despite service of notice, as directed by this Court on 28th September, 2022, the respondents are not represented. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.
It is submitted by the Counsel for the petitioner that despite order dated 18th July, 2019 as modified on 2nd September, 2019, the land of the petitioner has not been demarcated by the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Khargram.
It appears to this Court that the respondent no.6 has not effected demarcation of the petitioner's land. In the above circumstances, the instant writ petition is disposed of once again directing the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Khargram to effect demarcation in terms of the aforesaid order of this Court dated 18th July, 2019 as modified on 2nd September, 2019.
The petitioner shall notify the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Khargram of this Court's order
as also the orders dated 18th July, 2019 as modified on 2nd September, 2019 forthwith.
The notice of Sub-Inspector of Police, Khargram Police Station dated 24th June, 2019 is quashed and set aside for being without jurisdiction.
There will be no order as to costs.
All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
