The petitioner submits that he has been provided with a timetable issued by the State Transport Authority, West Bengal, which appears at page 15 of the writ petition. However, the timetable issued by the State Transport Authority, Jharkhand, is inconsistent with the timetable issued by the State Transport Authority, West Bengal. The petitioner further submits before this Court that due to this discrepancy between the timetables issued by the two respective State Transport Authorities, he is encountering difficulties in operating his vehicle. It is also submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that a representation was made before the State Transport Authority, Jharkhand, requesting necessary corrections to the relevant timetable; however, no
action has yet been taken in this regard.
The learned advocate appearing for the State Transport Authority, Jharkhand, submits that the petitioner's representation shall be considered in accordance with law. In view of the foregoing, this Court finds no justification to keep the writ petition pending.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the State Transport Authority, Jharkhand, to consider the representation appearing at page 29 of the writ petition in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. If deemed necessary, the State Transport Authority shall afford the petitioner an opportunity of hearing. Accordingly, WPA 13363 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
