The writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent no. 3 to take necessary action in respect of the rectified certificate dated 20.06.2025 issued by the Controlling Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act, Barrackpore.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after the rectified certificate was issued a sum of Rs. 3,06,859/- was received by the petitioner herein.

It is submitted that the balance amount of the said certificate has till date not been paid to the petitioner herein.

It is further submitted that the petitioner then filed a representation before the Certificate Officer on 07.01.2026. It is stated that in spite of making such application, no action has been taken by the Certificate Officer till date.

On hearing the learned counsels appearing for the parties, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the respondent no. 3 being the Certificate Officer shall consider the petitioner's application dated 07.01.2026 within 30 days from the date of communication of this order and dispose of the matter in accordance with law by hearing the parties and by passing a reasoned order.

Writ application stands disposed of.
