Mr. Abhra Mukherjee Mr. Sauradeep Dutta ......For the petitioner Mr. Imran Siddiqui .......For the respondents The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the Post Master, Joka Post Office has not allowed her to withdraw the proceeds of certain deposit accounts as the legal heirs of Nirode Ranjan Dasgupta and Lina Dasgupta.

There appears to be some confusion on the documents produced and the signature of the witnesses. Without entering into the said dispute and since the parties are otherwise in agreement, the petitioner shall produce before the Joka Post Office, all the documents including the original succession certificate and two witnesses on 9th December, 2021 at 11.00 a.m. when the Joka Post Office shall after being satisfied release payment to the petitioner.

The petitioner shall be entitled to the amounts paid mentioned in the letter dated 5th August, 2021 being Annexure - P to the petition.

The writ petition being WPA 14308 of 2021 is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
