Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the minor victim shows that the petitioner came into the house for the purpose of checking electric bill and committed rape on her. In view of the aforesaid incriminating facts and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
