Deshbandhunagar, P.S. Baguiati, Kolkata700 059 under Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation. It appears that the Corporation issued a notice upon the petitioner for repairing of the said building on September 29, 2022.

Learned advocate representing the Corporation submits that if the petitioner wants to repair or demolish the building in question, it is to be done by the petitioner himself. No order from the Corporation is required.

The petitioner submits that he is willing to deposit the required cost for demolition of the building

in question, but the demolition work should be carried out by the Corporation.

In view of the above facts, I grant liberty upon the petitioner to make a representation before the Corporation for allowing him to demolish the aforesaid building in question within a period of fifteen days from the date of communication of this order. The Corporation, if otherwise satisfied, shall permit the petitioner to demolish the building in question at his own cost within two weeks thereafter by a written communication.

Accordingly, WPA 13650 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
