None appears for the petitioner at the time of call. No accommodation has been sought for either.

This application under Article of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the defendant praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Div.), 3rd Court at Barasat to dispose of Title Suit No.1048 of 1993 expeditiously.

From the order sheets appended to this application, this Court finds that in view of the notification of the Hon'ble High Court vide letter dated 3919-RG dated April 23, 2024 as per the order of the learned District Judge, North 24-Parganas, the case record was transferred to the Court of the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Div.), 3rd Court at Barasat on August 31, 2024 and January 7, 2025 was fixed for appearance.

CO 2142 of 2025 stands disposed of with the hope and trust that the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Div.), 3rd Court at Barasat will make an endeavour to see that the Title Suit No.1048 of is disposed of as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

There will be no order as to costs.
