Sandip Kuila v. The State Of West Bengal And ORS.
M/L 634 04.08.2025 ct.no.35 Kausik W.P.A. 14758 of 2024 Sandip Kuila
Versus
The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Tarak Karan ...for the State.
Petitioner is aggrieved by the police authorities not efficiently carrying out the investigation. To that effect, informations were furnished to the Superior Officers of Police. However, no steps were taken.
Mr. Karan, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State and submits that several litigations including case and counter-cases were filed at the behest of the petitioner and/or against him. Petitioner now is aggrieved against the police officers and/or Government Servants who according to the petitioner are not effectively carrying out the investigation properly.
Be that as it may, since substantial time has passed, Mr. Karan, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the duty of an Investigating Agency is to find out the truth and they
are not to work at the dictates of any of the parties to the litigation.
Having considered that police authorities had taken steps at the relevant point of time, I am of the view that if the petitioner is of the opinion that there have been deficiencies in the investigation he would approach the jurisdictional Court with necessary prayers. The concerned Court would act in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observations WPA 14758 of 2024 is disposed of.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
