The State respondents accept that the plot in question is a rayati land. The State respondents propose to go in for a direct purchase of the said plot from the petitioner. The petitioner is agreeable to such proposal. In view of the above, WPA 14329 of 2021 is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to make a proposal for direct purchase of the plot in question to the petitioner and upon the proposal being accepted by the petitioner, the entire exercise should be completed within a short time, preferably within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
