The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the husband/petitioner herein is regularly paying the alimony in terms of the order passed on an application filed under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order, upon the opposite party or upon the learned

advocate representing the opposite party before the learned trial judge.

From the order-sheets appended to this application this court finds that June 20, 22025 was fixed for hearing of the application under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Civil Procedure Code and for filing of written objection.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the application for amendment was not taken up for hearing on June 20, 2025.

In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, CO 2145 of 2025 stands disposed of by requesting learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court-2, Barasat to take up the hearing of the application under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Civil Procedure Code on the next date fixed, if the same is otherwise ready for hearing and to make an endeavour to see that the same is disposed of as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, provided the petitioner is not in default in payment of alimony or maintenance.
