Petitioner approached this court alleging that in spite of informing the police authorities, no actions have been taken.

According to the petitioners, there are specific allegations against the private respondents who are attempting to throw them away and to that extent have assaulted them also.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that on repeated occasions, police authorities have drawn up proceedings under section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

A civil case is also pending before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Basirhat Court being TS No. 122 of 2021.

Having considered the petitioners and the private respondents are already before the civil court, I direct the police authorities to keep a strict vigil and to ensure that no breach of the peace takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations WPA 14780 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
