Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for one year and eight months. Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes prayer for bail. She submits that trial has substantially progressed and eleven witnesses have already been examined.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is alleged to be a conspirator who along with co-accuseds engaged sharp shooters to murder her own parents. In view of gravity of the offence, incriminating materials on record and as trial has substantially progressed, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
