Rajesh Sk Mr. Tanmay Basu Ms. Promita Halder Ms. Ambika Sasmal ...for the petitioner This application under Article of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the pre-emptor a proceeding under Section 8 and 9 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), Lalbagh, DistrictMurshidabad to dispose of the Miscellaneous (Pre) Case No.18 of 2022 expeditiously.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite party or the learned advocate representing the opposite party before the learned trial judge. From the order sheets appended to this application, this Court finds that April 17, 2025 was fixed for further cross-examination of P.W.1.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that June 24, 2025 has been fixed for crossexamination of P.W.1. In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 2150 of 2025 stands disposed of with the hope and trust that the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), Lalbagh, District-Murshidabad shall make an endeavour to dispose of the Miscellaneous (Pre) Case No.18 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

There will be no order as to costs.
