Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

The petition is taken up for consideration subsequent to the order dated December 16, 2021.

By the order dated December 16, 2021, the victim girl was allowed to record further statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In the statement of the victim girl recorded on January 5, 2022, the victim implicates the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. 6310 of 2021 is dismissed.
