The petitioner has approached this court with a prayer for not giving effect to the notice dated 02.02.2023 issued in the name of the petitioner.

Additionally, it has been submitted that on 02.02.2023, the petitioner also informed the Officer-in-charge of Nimta Police Station in respect of his grievance.

However, the police authorities did not act upon such information, as such, the petitioner approached this Court.

Having considered that such information was made in February, 2023 and more than two years have expired

since then, I am of the view that circumstances have changed from the date on which the petitioner approached the concerned police authorities.

Since none appears on behalf of the State, Mr. Anirban Datta, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

In view of the change of circumstances, no interference is called for by invoking the jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13711 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
