This is a matter relating to non payment of pension of the petitioner who retired from his service as a school teacher on 31.03.2018.

In this matter affidavit, affirmed on 4th January, 2022, filed on behalf of the school, is kept on record. One exception filed to the said affidavit is also kept on record. No affidavit in opposition has been filed by the State. However, I direct the concerned District Inspector of Schools to call for a meeting with the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order. The concerned school and one representative of the Director of Pension Provident Fund

and Group Insurance shall also be present in the said meeting. All parties are allowed to appear before the concerned District Inspector of School with their legal advisor if they feel like. The DI can call a meeting for more than one day but it should not be more than five days over a period of three months meaning thereby the entire exercise is to be completed by three months from the date of the first meeting. The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the school and the DI so that his papers can be processed for payment of pension.

From the instruction given to the learned advocate I find that the objections are quite serious against the petitioner.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
