Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for excess of 700 days. He submits that the case is yet to be committed.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail. She draws the attention of the Court to the contents of the orders rejecting the bail on two previous occasions. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the prima facie involvement of the petitioner, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. We however, request the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Murshidabad to commit the case within a period of six weeks from the date of this order.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State is requested to take expeditious steps with regard thereto.
