The writ petitioner is aggrieved that despite a complaint to the Narendrapur Police Station dated 07.04.2021 and subsequent complaint dated 31st May, 2022, FIR has not been registered by the concerned Police Station.

Counsel for the State submits that FIR No. 644 of 2022 dated 14th June, 2022 under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4D of the WBLR Act, 1955 has been started. It is also submitted that after completion of investigation, Charge Sheet No.622 of 2022 dated 30th June, 2022 under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4D of the WBLR Act, 1955 has been filed. Accused persons are on bail. In that view of the matter, the petitioner cannot have any grievance against the respondents. This Court sees absolutely no inaction on the part of the police.

Written instructions of the Narendrapur Police Station dated 1st August, 2022 addressed to the learned advocate for the State is taken on record. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
