Learned counsels for the petitioner and the private respondents submit that the notice dated 17th June, 2026 issued by the Prescribed Authority and Block Development Officer, Beldanga-I Development Block which was assailed in the writ petition has been withdrawn. The Pradhan, Mohula-II Gram Panchayat has tendered his resignation before the authority which has been accepted by the latter. In view of the above, nothing further remains to be dealt with in this writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
