Mitra Ms. Jonaki Saha ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for 121 days. It is submitted that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case and did not have motive to commit the crime.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered evidence on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner along with co-accuseds surrounded the victim who was stabbed to death.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid facts disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime and in view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
