Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the Officer-in-Charge, Joynagar Police Station as well as the Superintendent of Police, 24 Parganas South, no steps were taken. Records reflect that such information was sent on or about 07.05.2024 and the basic accusations relating to dispute relate to property and threat at the behest of the private respondents.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms.

Barnali Gupta, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having considered the time which has lapsed in the meantime, I direct that in case petitioner furnishes a fresh representation to the

Officer-in-Charge, Joynagar Police Station he would consider the representation in accordance with law and inform the outcome of his decision within a period of 45 days from the date of such application being advanced before his Office.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 14825 of 2024 is disposed of.
