1. Document filed in support of putting in Deficit Court Fees on behalf of the petitioners is taken on record.
2. Matter is heard in presence of learned advocates representing the parties.

In this writ petition, recruitment notification dated 30th May, 2025 being Memo No.1092/7016/CSSC/ ESTT/2025 is under challenge by fresh candidates who did not participate in the first State Level Selection Test, 2016 for classes IX, X and XI, XII. It is submitted by learned advocate representing the petitioners that a separate selection process should be conducted by the concerned respondent authorities for fresh candidates
who did not take part in the first SLST, 2016 for classes IX, X and XI, XII.

It is also submitted in reference to a part of said Recruitment Notification dated 30th May, 2025 that fate of the selection process which has been initiated vide notification dated 30th May, 2025 depends upon final outcome of review petitions which are pending for consideration before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and based on such fact, it is submitted that the present recruitment process may not be taken to logical conclusion in future.
5. While considering the issue raised in this writ petition, it appears that in recruitment notification dated 30th May, 2025, fresh candidates are not debarred from offering their candidatures. This Court has decided on a batch of writ petitions first one being WPA 12505 of 2025 (Sanjoy Kumar Doloi & Anr. Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors.) that there is no observations made by the Hon'ble Division Bench in the judgment dated 22nd April, 2024 and in the judgment dated 03rd April, 2025 delivered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, that the ensuing recruitment process needs to be confined to the candidates who participated in the first SLST, 2016 for classes IX, X and XI, XII. It was submitted before this Court while considering Sanjoy Kumar Doloi's case (supra) that along with the vacancies relating to first SLST, 2016 for classes IX, X and XI, XII, subsequent vacancies were also clubbed together and this recruitment process is open to the candidates who did not participate in the first SLST, 2016 for classes IX, X and XI, XII.
6. Since the issue has already been decided in Sanjoy Kumar Doloi's case (supra), vide judgment dated 07th July, 2025, this Court finds that the present issue is also covered by the same judgment. Hence, present writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the observations
and directions made in judgment dated 07th July, 2025 passed in Sanjoy Kumar Doloi (supra)[WPA 12505 of 2025].
7. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
8. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of necessary formalities.
