Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of Chandannagar Police Station Case No. 04 of 2024 which was registered for investigation under section 302/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Grievance of the petitioner is that there has been no progress in the investigation in spite of substantial time having been lapsed and the police authorities have not put in their efforts.

Report submitted by the State reflects that police authorities have concluded the investigation, but are waiting for FSL reports.

Be that as it may, whether the FSL report in the material facts of the case would be required or not may be taken up later after the same is received, but

primary materials have been collected by the investigating agency.

Let the report under section 173 of the Cr.P.C. be filed preferably within a month from date before the jurisdictional court concerned.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 14837 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the state be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
