Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the incident arose when the victim tried to take away money from the petitioner. He submits that victim is the father of the petitioner. Petitioner did not intend to assault the victim. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report and to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. A senior citizen of 85 years of age was assaulted by his son. He suffered injuries. His statement implicates the petitioner who is his son.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 3174 of 2022 is dismissed.
