The petitioner seeks release of her land measuring of about 79 decimal situated at MouzaJewdhara, J.L. No. 167, Khatian No. 1560, Dag No. 2345, Block-Kalna-II, Police Station - Kalna, District-Purba Bardhaman.

It is submitted on behalf of the State that the aforesaid land has vested in proceedings under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955.

In view of the statutory alternative remedy available to the petitioner, the writ petition is not maintainable.

In view of the above, WPA 14847 of 2023 stands dismissed.
