The subject-matter of this revisional application relates to an order dated 12.04.2023 passed by learned Sessions Judge, Howrah in Criminal Appeal No. 28 of 2023. On perusal of the said order, I find that the learned Sessions Judge, Howrah was pleased to grant a blanket interim order of stay without considering the monetary relief and sustenance of the present petitioner/wife.

Having considered the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Howrah and the learned Sessions Judge, Howrah, I direct that during the pendency of the appeal, the husband/opposite party no.2 herein would go on paying a sum of Rs.40,000/- per month till the disposal of the appeal by the learned Sessions Judge, Howrah. Steps be taken by the learned Sessions Judge, Howrah, so that within a reasonable period of time, the criminal appeal is disposed of finally. At least one date in a month be fixed for disposal of the said appeal.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2131 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
