1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Considered the materials placed by the learned Counsel for the parties including the statement of the witnesses and the injury report in respect of the victim.

3. Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner, nature of injury sustained by the victim and the fact that the victim was assaulted by multiple persons, it is directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranaghat, Nadia in connection with Santipur Police Station Case No. 250 of 2022 dated 22.03.2022 on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case including the condition that i) the petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the trial court without leave of the trial court; ii) he shall appear in Court on each date of substantive hearing during the trial subject to provision of Section 317

Cr.P.C.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed.

5. The application being CRM (DB) 2314 of 2023 is disposed of.

6. Learned Trial Court is hereby directed to act upon the server copy of this order.
