Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not the principal accused in the cheating case. The petitioner was an employee of the principal accused. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws attention of the Court to the statement of the defacto complainant as also the statements of other victims from where it transpires that the petitioner acted as an agent of the principal accused in the cheating.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials available in the Case Diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM 6069 of 2021 is dismissed.
