This is an application for quashing of the proceeding in connection with G. R. Case No. 2212/2019 pending before the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Uluberia on the ground that the dispute has been amicably settled. The Investigating Officer was directed to record a statement of the de facto complainant to ascertain as to whether the dispute has actually been settled or not. The de facto complainant has admitted that the dispute has been settled. The offences are compoundable in nature. Therefore, the instant joint petition for compromise is accepted. The proceedings in G. R. Case No. 2212/2019 arising out of Bauria Police Station Case No. 160/2019 dated 28th September, 2019 under Sections 420/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code now pending before the Court of the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Uluberia be quashed.

The report submitted by the Investigating Officer be kept with the record.

The instant applications are disposed of.
