1. This instant writ petition has been filed by the writ petitioner seeking direction upon the respondents and/or their men, agents and assigns to forthwith allow the petitioner to appear for the interview to be held on or before 20th June, 2009 for the post of Typist in New Alipore College.

2. None appears on behalf of either of the parties. No accommodation is sought for.

3. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner on the earlier occasion.

4. This case is pending since 2009, almost 16 years have passed.

5. Considering the nature of prayer and passage of time, the prayer cannot be entertained and there is no scope to pass any order.

6. In view of the above facts, the writ petition being WPA 12364 of 2009 is dismissed without any order as to costs. Consequently, connected pending application, if any, is also dismissed.

7. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

8. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court without insisting upon production of a certified copy thereof.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
