1. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no.1 is the mother-in-law and the petitioner no. 2 is the brother-in-law of the victim. It is submitted that they are innocent and falsely implicated.

2. Learned Counsel for the State in opposing the prayer for anticipatory bail has referred to the statement of the child witness recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code and the statement of the neighbours.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the statement of the child witness and the statement of the neighbours implicating the petitioners, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Soumen Sen, J.) (Uday Kumar, J.)
